Crystal Palace are reportedly set to terminate the contract of its manager, Roy Hodgson before the end of this current season ( 2023/24).
There are reports that the club will appoint Olivier Glasner as a replacement for the 76-year-old who has not led Crystal Palace to victory in most of the games this season. Glasner has not managed any club since he left Eintracht at the end of the 2022-23 season with a year remaining on his contract, having won the Europa League and reached a DFB-Pokal final.
Palace's start to this season and the place that way they are currently have been a sharp contrast. They took seven points from their opening four games of this season but have recorded only three wins since September having been knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round by Everton.
The 3-1 home defeat by Chelsea on Monday, February 12, 2024, was the team's fourth defeat in five games. This result puts the Eagles in 15th place with 24 points having played 24 games.
