One of the captains at Chelsea Football Club, Conor Gallagher has cleared the air about his future at the club as there are rumours that he could be leaving this summer.

Conor Gallagher was speaking in an interview while on international duties with the Three Lions in Germany ahead of the Euro 2024 about his future at Chelsea. The midfielder confirmed that he is happy with the appointment of Enzo Maresca as the new manager but he is focused on the Euros.

What does Gallagher say about his future at Chelsea?

He expressed his commitment to the Euros which is the only thing on his mind but he also spoke about the exit of Mauricio Pochettino from Chelsea.

"Full focus on the Euros. I couldn't be happier with the position I am in. It was sad to see Pochettino go. He’s done so much for me, but I’m really excited for the new manager coming in and working with him."

Which clubs are interested in Gallagher?

Aston Villa and Tottenham are the two major clubs interested in the player but none have made an offer for the player.

There were initial reports that Chelsea would be forced to sell Gallagher to balance their financial books. However, there might be a loophole for the Blues in the profitability and sustainability rules which will allow the Blues to keep the midfielder.
