Cole Palmer has achieved a stunning landmark after scoring for Chelsea in the 5-0 mauling of West Ham United.
Over the weekend, the Chelsea Football Club played host to West Ham at home in Stamford Bridge. The Blues came into the match with a clear objective of reducing the point gap between them and Newcastle United. Chelsea started off the match with a dominant display, showing their intent to win from the very first minute.
The home team's attacking prowess paid off in the 15th minute when Cole Palmer scored the opening goal of the match. With this goal, Palmer became only the third player in the history of the premier league to have achieved the milestone of scoring 30 goals and providing 30 assists before turning 22 years old.
The Blues continued to press forward, creating scoring opportunities throughout the match
but were unable to convert them into goals. Nonetheless, Chelsea held on to their early lead and secured a crucial victory in their quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
