The 29-year-old Denmark player suffered the arrest in the opening group game against Finland at the Euro 2020 on June 12, 2021. The player has not played football since the incident as he was not passed medically fit to play by his Serie A club, Inter Milan.

An insider confirmed the news to Reuters, which was reported on the Sky Sports News website on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021. According to the source, Eriksen reached out to the club and had since been training by himself.

It's natural for him since he played here in his youth and lives around the corner. We are very happy to be able to provide training facilities for him.

Eriksen played for the club before he joined Ajax in 2008. He then moved to Tottenham in 2013 and made a move to Serie A Champions, Inter Milan last year. Inter Milan have told Eriksen that they are open to allowing him to leave the club for free as he can not play with the aid of a defibrillator.
