The Chinese football association has banned footballers in China from wearing tattoos and those who already have them must cover them up either while playing or during training.

Sky Sports News confirmed the news on its website on Thursday, December 30th, 2021. According to reports from the statement, any player that fails to obey these rules will have to face the consequences of disobeying the law.
The General Administration of Sport of China said in a statement that National teams in China at all levels will strictly implement the relevant requirements of the management measures.

The national team and the U23 national team athletes are strictly prohibited from having new tattoos, and those who already have tattoos are advised to remove them themselves. If there are special circumstances agreed by, the team ( players ) must cover up the tattoos during training and matches. It is also said that for teams at U20 level and below, the recruitment of players with tattoos was strictly prohibited.
