The latest Michael Olise to Chelsea news has shocked football fans worldwide as the June 2024 transfer window reaches new heights.

According to recent reports, Chelsea have decided to opt out of a transfer move for Crystal Palace's Michael Olise in the June 2024 window.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea began discussions with Palace and the player earlier this week but ultimately withdrew from the race for his signature due to financial limitations.

The report further mentioned that Chelsea intends to reward their current players and also aims to bring in two new attackers to their squad.

The Athletic also indicated that the 22-year-old has also favoured a move to join Bayern Munich, with the German club among those who reached out regarding a potential transfer.

Vincent Kompany, who took over at the Allianz last month, will consider him a crucial signing.

Olise, who inked a four-year deal with Palace last August, has a £60 million release clause at Selhurst Park.

Reports indicated that Manchester United had shown interest in acquiring the Frenchman, with Arsenal and Newcastle also expressing their eagerness. There has however not been more details as to how far the negotiations have gone with these clubs and if he would be open to a move.

Many are however not ruling out the probability of Olise extending his contract for the second time with Crystal Palace after it was revealed that the club is also looking to offer another contract with a more improved wage structure to keep him at Selhurst park for a few more years.
