Chelsea FC might be forced to start their 2022/2023 football season campaign with different defenders as the Blues might just be losing another defender this Summer.
As talks of the club's ownership progress further, Chelsea FC might be forced to regroup and get defensive reinforcement ahead of the 2022/2023 football season as they are set to lose another important defender to the team.
According to transfer talks specialist, star player Marcos Alonso would be allowed to leave Chelsea this summer for a deal that would be agreed on later with speculations that he might be joining Andreas Christensen at Barcelona. The left-back had been an integral part of Thomas Tuchel's team following Ben Chilwell's injury at the beginning of the 2021/2022 season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Marcos Alonso, whose contract would expire in 2023, has reportedly been in talks with Barcelona for one month.
