The bid to takeover Chelsea Football Club from Russian Billionaire, Roman Abramovich which is down to the final four bidders have been given a final deadline to submit their bid.

Sky Sports News confirmed the news on its official website on Sunday, March 27th, 2022. According to reports, the final bidders have been given until April 11th, 20222 to submit their final bid by the Raine Investment Group. They have also been told that they must be ready to invest 1 billion pounds into the club for renovations of Stamford Bridge.
The decision to sell the Stamford Bridge club came as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The situation led to the Uk government freezing all the assets of Abramovich in their country which includes Chelsea Football Club.
The Blues were sanctioned by the government as they were banned from selling tickets to fans which as now been cancelled. They were also stopped from proceeding with contract dealing of their present or prospective players.

The first on the list is the US business tycoon, Todd Boehly with a bid of amost 2.5 billion pounds while a consortium which is headed by Coe and Broughton seem to be favourite to take over the club with a bid a little over 2 billion pounds.
Third, on the list is the Ricketts family, this look like a partnership that might never happen as Chelsea fans over the world have all stood in unity against the Ricketts. The fans of the Blues are not interested in them because of the anti-islam commet that was made by Joe Rickett in 2012.
Pagliuca is fourth on the list and he is believed to have a fortune of their billion pounds but his bid is supported by the equity from Bain Capital where he is the co-chairman.
