Chelsea Football Club might be losing another defender this summer transfer window, following the reported transfer of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.

The Blues' reportedly might also let go of their left-back Marcos Alonso when the transfer window opens. Transfer News expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed this on his official Twitter account on Sunday, May 1st, 2022, according to the tweet, Barcelona are eyeing the Spaniard as part of their recruitment ahead of the new season.
The Catalonia club were reportedly keen on signing Cesar Azpilicueta as a free agent but the Chelsea captain decided to renew his contract by another year keeping him at Stamford Bridge until June 2023.
Chelsea's new owners will be having a busy summer transfer window as they will need to fill in the space that will be left by Rudiger, Christensen and most likely Alonso.
