Chelsea Football Club are on a mission of reducing the size of their squad ahead of the new season ( 2023/24) which kicks off in August 2023.
Chelsea announced the exit of its first-team defender, Kalidou Koulibaly on its official website on Sunday, June 25, 2023. The club confirmed that the Senegalese have completed his move Al-Hilal in the Saudi professional league.
The 33-year-old time at Chelsea did not go as it was expected by football fans around the world. He was signed by Napoli during the 2022 summer transfer window as a replacement for Antonio Rudiger.
Chelsea supporters will always remember Koulibaly for his fantastic goal against Tottenham in his first game at Stamford Bridge. He made 32 appearances for the Blues during his one season at Stamford Bridge.
