Chelsea Football Club have confirmed the exit of Baba Rahman as they look to trim down their squad ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The Blues released an official statement on its website confirming the Ghanian defender has joined Greek club PAOK, where he spent time on loan in 2021. Baba Rahman joined Chelsea from Augsburg in the 2015 summer transfer window but could not break into the first team.
He made 23 appearances for Chelsea in his first season before he moved to Schalke. The left-back suffered a knee injury while playing for Ghana at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
He had a lot of loan spells at Reims, Real Mallorca and PAOK. He also spent the last two seasons (2021/22, 2022/23) in the Championship at Reading.
