Chelsea Football Club have reportedly agreed to personal terms with Inter Milan's number-one shot-stopper, Andre Onana ahead of the new football season.
The Cameroonian International is said to be the first major signing for the Blues new manager, Mauricio Pochettino who resumes office on July 1, 2023. There are reports from Italy that Inter rejected Chelsea's first bid which is worth £34 million, the Champions League finalist has placed a £52 million price tag on the player.
However, Onana confirmed after the UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City that he is still committed to Inter Milan.
I am so, so happy at Inter. At this professional level, you never know what happens. I am available for Inter, they decide and I will accept what they want. I’m happy at Inter.
There are also reports from Chelsea that the club might have to let go of either Kepa Arrizabalaga or Eduoard Mendy before the beginning of next season to make space for Onana.
