Chelsea Football Club have confirmed the signing of a forward player from Brazilian side, Santos
The Blues made the official announcement on its website on Thursday, August 24, 2023. The teenage sensation, Deivid Washington, signed a seven-year contract which will keep him at the club until 2030 with the option of a further year.
He expressed his excitement about joining Chelsea on the club website.
"I am very happy to be joining a huge team like Chelsea, I can't wait to make my debut here at such a big club, and provide lots of goals and assists."
The talented forward began his career with Gremio, before switching to Santos in 2016. He made a total of 16 senior appearances for Santos in all competitions and scored two goals before moving to Chelsea.
