Chelsea supporters might have their dream come through as they appeal to the club's hierarchy to find a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino.
Matt Law of the Telegraph confirmed in a post that Chelsea are beginning to look out for a new manager if Pochettino is sacked at the end of this season. According to reports, no major decision has been taken concerning the future of the Argentine despite the FA Cup defeat and the humiliation at the Emirates Stadium.
The board at the club are not happy with the recent situation but they also believe that there are a lot of factors working against the success of Pochettino. He now faces a difficult task to ensure that Chelsea qualifies for Europe next season (2024/25).
If Chelsea fails to qualify for any European competition, this will put Pochettino’s job in greater jeopardy ahead of an end-of-season review by co-owners Behdad Eghbali, Jose E Feliciano, and Todd Boehly, together with sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart.
Chelsea face Aston Villa, Tottenham, West Ham, Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Bournemouth in their final six games.
