The Italian was speaking in an interview when he was asked his reasons for not bringing any player to boost his squad. He said clubs are not expected to buy players during the winter unless there is a problem.

We have not gone to the market because we did not need to. If you plan well and carry out your plan, it is not necessary to go into the winter market. If you have to, then it is because something has happened. We have thought that it was not necessary to intervene in the winter market because the squad is fine.

However, Real Madrid were interested in signing Kylian Mbappe from Real Madrid during the summer but it did not see the light of day. There is a possibility that they might push for him next summer.
