Bayern Munich shows interest in signing Bruno Fernandes

Following what many would categorise as a woeful season campaign for Bayern Munich, the German giants are reportedly looking to give the squad a full overhaul with new players expected to come in to fill in key positions and others expected to depart from the club.

One of such players Bayern Munich reportedly have their eyes set on signing is Man United's Bruno Fernandes and reports indicate that the club is poised to make the first move in the June 2024 transfer window.

Does Bruno Fernandes want to leave Man United?

Bruno Fernandes

In a recent conversation with DAZN Portugal, Bruno Fernandes opened up on his thoughts about his future at Man United and if he is open to a possible move in the June 2024 transfer window.

The Portuguese stated, “Obviously, it doesn’t just depend on me, does it? A player always has to want to be here, but at the same time, you have to want him to stay. At the moment, I feel there’s that on both sides. I’m not thinking too much about the future, not least because, obviously, this season hasn’t been at the level I’d hoped for, either individually or collectively, so far."

“So, if you want me to be very honest, if I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won’t be until after the Euros because nothing will be able to take my focus away from the FA Cup final and the Euros, as there’s nothing more important than that at the moment.”

Will Manchester United sell Bruno Fernandes?

Per the report, the leadership of Manchester United is open to negotiating Fernandes's departure due to concerns about the Premier League's financial and sustainability regulations.
