Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather paid a visit to the state capital of Nigeria, Abuja to meet with the organizers of his exhibition match in Dubai.
One of the greatest names in boxing and one of the richest sportsmen alive, Floyd Mayweather made a trip down to Abuja, Nigeria to meet with the organizers of his exhibition match in Dubai and also with Honorable minister Rotimi Ameachi and sports journalists as well.
Floyd also discussed his plans to open a boxing academy with the minister and journalists who attended the meeting.
He said:
"It's all about giving back. We're working on Mayweather boxing gyms in Nigeria. We want to also build boxing camps for the young youths and children coming up. We're going to continue to work together and hopefully someday we can find the next Floyd Mayweather from Nigeria,"
