Salihamidžić was speaking in an interview with Sky Sports News in Germany where he was asked about the future of the Polish striker. According to him, Lewandowski has a contract with Bayern which expires in 2023 and he is expected to resume for pre-season.

Until now it's 100%. July 12 is his first day at work, so I'm awaiting him. Meeting in Mallorca with Robert was very good. Each side explained their position, good one.Lewandowski's situation to be fixed? It’s possible, I’m convinced. He's a professional, that’s why it’s fixable. Robert’s under contract until 2023. I wait for him on July 12, of course, he’s welcome.

Lewandowski has repeatedly told the world that he wants to join Barcelona and there is nothing that inspires him at Bayern Munich. However, the Catalonia club submitted a bid of €35 million but there are reports that Bayern will only accept €50 million.
