Bayern Munich reacts to Leverkusen's first German Bundesliga win

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have both reacted to Bayer 04 Leverkusen winning the German Bundesliga for the first time in the history of the club.

Bayer Leverkusen with their 5-0 thumping of Werder Bremen earned their first German Bundesliga title since the inception of the league ending, Bayern Munich's 11-year winning streak in the league.

On a momentous occasion, the Leverkusen team led by Xabi Alonso displayed an exemplary performance, showcasing their control and dominance on the field. The match witnessed a staggering victory for the team as they registered an impressive unbeaten run of 43 games across all competitions.

Florian Wirtz was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick, while Victor Boniface and Granit Xhaka also added to the tally by scoring a goal each. This exceptional performance secured Leverkusen their first-ever title win, which was a long-awaited moment for the club, having finished second on five occasions in the past.
