The organisers of the Ballon d'Or have announced the full list of nominees for the Men's Player Of The Year award in 2023.

The list of players was announced on the official Twitter account of the body on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Every stakeholder in the game always looks forward to the players who will be nominated for the most prestigious award.

Who are the favourites for the Men's Ballon d'Or 2023?

Former Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona player, Lionel Messi is the favourite to win the award for a record-extending eighth time after leading Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar in December. The 36-year-old scored seven goals, including two in the final, and won the Golden Ball.

Manchester City's goal machine, Erling Haaland also stands a good chance at winning the award because of his fantastic form in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
He scored 52 goals in all competitions to the Pep Guardiola-led side to win the treble for the first time in the club's history.

When is the Ballon d'Or award ceremony?

The Ballon d’Or 2023 ceremony will be held at the Théâtre du Chatelet in Paris on October 30.
