AS Roma have confirmed the termination of Daniele De Rossi's contract with immediate effect following a series of bad results at the club since the beginning of this season.

De Rossi was appointed in January 2024 by Roma to replace the sacked José Mourinho and has since managed 26 games across Serie A and Europa League, getting 13 wins and six defeats.

De Rossi led Roma to a sixth place in the Serie A last season and was kicked out of the Europa League semifinal by Bayer Leverkusen. He was sent off at the end of Roma’s 1-1 draw at Genoa on Sunday leaving the club 16th in the Serie A table.
