Smith Rowe's time at Arsenal so far

Smith Rowe joined Arsenal’s academy at the age of ten and he quickly rose through their ranks as a result of his technical ability and work ethic, he made his senior debut for the club back in 2018, during a Europa League match against Vorskla, and he soon became one of the youngest players to score for Arsenal in European competitions.

He had loan spells at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and Huddersfield Town in the Championship. This was crucial for his development as a player, allowing him to adapt to different styles of play. He broke into the first team in the 2020-2021 season, when Arteta brought him on during a crucial period at the club. His performances were very important for Arsenal's attack.

During the 2023-2024 season, the 23-year-old midfielder faced challenges due to injuries and competition for a spot on the first team. Despite his potential and contributions, he only made two starts in the Premier League, leading to discussions about his future at the club.
