Arsenal Football Club have reportedly reached out to the representatives of David Raya as they look to bring in another goalkeeper.
The Brentford goalkeeper has been remarkable for the Bees in the last two seasons since they gained promotion to the Premier League. Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Gunners are already discussing salary with David Raya's camp.
"Understand Arsenal have made contact with David Raya’s camp to start talks on salary as player prefers Arsenal over Bayern as destination. Discussions are taking place, no issues with Raya but key point will be between clubs as Brentford always insisted on £40m fee."
Arsenal are looking for a back-up goalkeeper who can step up in big games as they are looking to put Aaron Ramsdale on his toes. This will also be a good deal for the Gunners as they will need a large squad looking at their participation in the UEFA Champions League.
