Reports now indicate that Arsenal will play the second leg of their must-win round of 16 fixture in the Champions League against Porto without a key player.

Following the confirmation of the Brazil national team ahead of the International break, it has been confirmed that Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli will not be available for both the national and club sides due to injury and is expected to miss the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 fixture against Porto.

Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta in an initial press conference on Monday, March 11, 2024, confirmed that the match fitness levels of Martinelli had remained uncertain but the latest statement by the Brazilian FA further confirms the doubt and fear of fans.

The degree and level of fitness of Martinelli also remains uncertain with the football star being spotted in a protective boot in the previous training for the Gunners ahead of the Porto fixture.
