Arsenal Football Club have confirmed the signing of a goalkeeper, Matt Turner from the MLS side, New England Revolution, the American will join the Gunners this summer.

The news was confirmed on the official website of Arsenal on Monday, June 27th, 2022. According to reports, the deal is pending medicals, the 27-year-old is expected to join the Gunners before the end of the month.
Turner won the award of best MLS goalkeeper of the year award last season. He is expected to remain with New England for the rest of the 2022 CONCACAF Champions League season and almost the whole of the 2022 MLS regular season.
The Gunners' manager, Mikel Arteta expressed his delight as it concerns the signing of Turner. According to him, the player's experience will bring a lot to the team next season.
