Barcelona's legend, Andreas Iniesta is reportedly set to announce his retirement from football at the age of 40 after an amazing career.

There are multiple reports that Andreas Iniesta will officially announce his retirement from football on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The career of the Spanish international will always be remembered by football fans during his days at Barcelona where he spent almost 20 years before he decided to leave the Catalonia giants for Vissel Kobe in the Japanese league.

The midfielder is among the few players to have featured in over 100 UEFA Champions League games for a club. He played 130 such matches for Barcelona whil Cristiano Ronaldo is the most-capped player in Champions League history (183).
