Super Eagles midfielder, Al Hassan Yusuf has given an update on the injury he suffered during the game against Equatorial Guinea.
Alhassan suffered a muscle injury against Equatorial Guinea and most Nigerians had assumed that he was completely out of the tournament. However, he confirmed that it was just a cramp that he suffered during the game but waits to see if he will be available for the game against Ivory Coast.
"It is just a cramp we will see if I will be available against Ivory Coast."
The Super Eagles picked up a point in their opening game which makes their second game against Ivory Coast on Thursday, January 18, 2024, a game which they can not afford to lose.
