Sir Alex Ferguson was honoured by his former club, Aberdeen Football Club before moving to Manchester United in 1986.

The Scottish club honoured Sir Alex by erecting a statue for him at their stadium. The former Manchester United manager is the club's most successful coach in the history of the club.
He won three league titles, four Scottish Cups, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup had the UEFA Super Cup in eight years before leaving the club for Old Trafford.
