Burna Boy, backed by a live band wearing #StopPoliceBrutality, was joined remotely by Chris Martin as they delivered a statement performance highlighting what years and years of systemic racism, oppression, and police brutality have turned us into.

At this very moment, in addition to the #EndSARS protests which have gone global, #BlackLivesMatter remains a very important fight for equality. Just this week, cops shot another black man on the streets of Philadelphia, and a series of fresh protests have erupted across Pennsylvania, USA. So, the performance of this song - and its visual representation - couldn't have been better timed.

"This is for Tiamiyu Kazeem, This is for Kolade Johnson. This is for everyone that has lost their lives at the hands of SARS and all kinds of police brutality. End police brutality now, and end profiling." - Burna Boy.

"Monsters You Made" is housed on Burna Boy's Summer 2020 album "Twice As Tall", which features the likes of Sauti Sol, Naughty By Nature, Stormzy, Youssou N'Dour, and is Executive Produced by Diddy. Stream #TAT on Apple Music and all other digital platforms.
