Skilled singer-songwriter Peruzzi has released a new single, INFERNO, a collaboration with Zlatan and Shoday.
The track reunites Peruzzi and Zlatan seven years after their earlier collaboration Bayi Bayi. Peruzzi has described INFERNO as a love song. His melodic vocals lead the record, Shoday adds a smooth second vocal approach, and Zlatan brings a more energetic rap delivery. The Loud Urban Choir provides background vocals, and production is credited to Sensei, Irock Classic and Fresh VDM.
The song moved quickly on the charts. It reached number 14 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Songs chart within about a day of release. It then hit number one on Apple Music Nigeria’s Most Played feed on Friday, October 30, up from number six the day before.
For Peruzzi, who rose during his DMW days, the record is a return to the collaborative sound that first brought him wide attention. For Shoday, it places a rising name beside two established artists. INFERNO is available on all major streaming platforms.
