Omah Lay has released CLARITY OF MIND (EXTENDED), a bigger edition of his sophomore album, which first came out back in April 2026. The original had 12 tracks, including ARTIFICIAL HAPPINESS, JAH JAH KNOWS, COPING MECHANISM and AMEN. The extended version adds four songs at the end, bringing the total to 16.
Two of the additions carry international features. American rapper Gunna joins Omah Lay on BACK TO LAGOS, and French artist Tiakola features on TAKE. The other new songs are KEEP GOING and HOLY GHOST FIRE.
Pairing an American rapper with a French artist looks like a deliberate market play, since both countries have embraced Afrobeats and its offshoots. Tiakola’s melodic, Afro-tinged style fits naturally beside Omah Lay’s voice.
The new songs extend the themes of the original: personal growth, spirituality, relationships and the messier side of success. They continue the introspective direction he has followed since his 2020 EP Get Layd and his 2022 debut album Boy Alone.
The release also keeps the album cycle active while the remaining CLARITY OF MIND tour dates, originally due from October 30, are postponed. The extended edition is out now on all major streaming platforms.
