Zuchu Clocks 500 Million Views On Youtube, Makes A New Record
Tanzanian singer Zuchu has finally soared past 500 million views on YouTube, a feat she accomplished just three years after her debut on the prestigious WCB Wasafi label.
Zuchu, whose real name is Zuhura Othman Soud, has become the first female artist in East Africa to amass an astounding 500 million views on YouTube. With this achievement, Zuchu, therefore, is now the most viewed East African female artist on Youtube.

Zuchu has consistently shattered Youtube records throughout her career. In an extraordinary feat, she earned 100,000 subscribers in just one week after her debut. On her Youtube channel, Zuchu usually posts her music videos, singles, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews and more.
In 2021, "Sukari" was crowned as the most-watched video in Sub-Saharan Africa 2021, and she is also the most subscribed female artist in Sub-Saharan Africa on Youtube.
