She is now the most subscribed female artist in Africa on YouTube, a commendation that all started after joining Tanzania's biggest label, WCB Wasafi and in a new interview, Zuchu has narrated how she first met with Diamond Platnumz.
Zuhura Othman Soud, famously known as Zuchu, has finally unfolded how she first met her "boss" Diamond Platnumz. Zuchu who recently won as the Best Female artist in East Africa at the AFRIMMA Awards in one of the most anticipated interviews of the year with Salama On Salama Na chronicled how her first encounter with Diamond Platnumz was.

Zuchu confessed that she first met Diamond Platnumz through her mom Khadija Kopa. After meeting Diamond, Zuchu performed two songs as a tryout and it was her performance of the song Wana that impressed Diamond and she was finally admitted to join the Wasafi family.
During the interview which saw Salama and Zuchu exchanging laughs and sipping homemade tea, Zuchu also talked about her estranged relationship with her father and all the things surrounding her music career.
