Wasafi Classic Brothers has finally unveiled their newest talent; Zuchu.

Diamond Platnumz; who is the CEO of Wasafi Records had kept the fans in wild anticipation when he announced on Twitter earlier this week that the record label had a new member;

Zuchu who is also the daughter of renown Tanzanian Taarab singer; Bi Khadija Omar Kopa, also took to her socials to share her excitement in achieving her life's dream;

The newly signed star further explained that she is going to use her platform to encourage women to always go after their dreams and join her in proving that women do not need to be enabled in order to succeed;

Nikiwa kama mwanamke ndoto yangu kubwa ni kutumia kipaji changu kuthibitisha ule usemi "Power's not given to you. You have to take it" yaani "Nguvu Haiji Kwa Kupewa, Bali Kwa Kujitengenezea Mwenyewe". Na hii ni ili kufuta imani na dhana potofu kuwa wanawake hawawezi bila ya kuwezeshwa.

Na muhimu zaidi pia safari yangu katika muziki iende kuwatia nguvu wanawake wote kupambana katika kutimiza ndoto zao.

She then thanked Wasafi Records CEO; Diamond Platnumz and his management for believing in her talent and for giving her a chance after four years of waiting for this moment;

The biggest East African record label is the home to some of the biggest names in African music including; Rayvanny, Mbosso, Queen Darleen and Lava Lava.
