Singida Fountain Gate recruits Nizar Khalfan as the new assistant coach

Former Tanzanian football star Nizar Khalfan has officially been announced as the assistant coach for Singida Fountain Gate club in Singida, one of the biggest football clubs in Tanzania.

Nizar Khalfan who is now 34 years old will work together with head coach Thabo Senong who is from South Africa.

Before acquiring this new position, Nizar served as the manager, while Thabo was the assistant coach for the team. 

These changes occurred following the departure of coach Heron Ferreira from Brazil. Nizar has undergone various coaching courses after retiring from professional football, choosing to continue contributing to the sport after a successful playing career. 

During his football years as a player, Nizar Khalfan played for different teams such as Mtibwa Sugar, Al Tadamon in Kuwait and Moro United and was also a played to Tanzania’s national team Taifa Stars.
