EXCLUSIVE: Walshy Fire en route to Kenya: "Finding Africa Tour"

Jamaican-American DJ and record producer Walshy Fire of the legendary dancehall reggae-influenced trio Major Lazer will be heading to Nairobi in the final week of January, 2017. He will be embarking on an East African leg of his "Finding Africa Tour", ahead of dropping a new collaborative music project that will feature several African artistes.

Together with fellow DJs: Jillionaire and Diplo, the group Major Lazer is responsible for delivering mega global hits including Lean On with DJ Snake and MØ, Light it Up feat Nyla and Fuse ODG and Cold Water featuring Justin Bieber and MØ.

While in the East, Walshy will also visit Ethiopia. He will be doing a media tour and filming his trip and tour highlights in both countries. He also plans to meet top Kenyan and Ethiopian artistes who have played a part in creating today’s pop music and developing the genres of dancehall and reggae.
