Kenya's Most Played - July Edition


The men in the Kenyan music scene dominate this month's most played tracks. From long reigning rap champs such as Khaligraph Jones to the leaders of the new school; Chris Kaiga, here are the heaviest hits currently bursting the airwaves in Kenya.

Khaligraph Jones - Tuma Kitu

East Africa's greatest rapper; Khaligraph Jones returns with a Hip Hop banger titled "Tuma Kitu".

The OG comes through with bar after bar, making a statement to all those owe him his money, telling them to pay up because he is on his way up. He matches this hit with the official music video where he joins a talented dance crew in busting a few moves to the hard hitting baselines on this track.



Otile Brown ft. Kidum - Leilah

Kenya's favourite RnB singer, Otile Brown unleashed the official music video for his hit single "Leilah" on which he features Burudian singer, Kidum.

The pair brought their vocal abilities together to sing to the persona of Leilah as a man who sees her pain, letting her know if she was his partner, he would love and appreciate her accordingly. The official visual illustrates the story of Leilah who is in an unhappy relationship with a man who does not see her worth.


Bahati - Missing You

Bahati makes a return to our monthly most played tracks with his new single "Missing You".

The multidimensional artist released a love song in which he sings to his ex partner about how much he misses her after realizing how much he took their love for granted. The drama unfolds in the official music video when Bahati is caught in the act of infidelity making him realize what a big mistake he has made.



Willy Paul ft. Bien - Kamati Ya Roho Chafu

One of Kenya's most consistent artists; Willy Paul debuts a new single with Sauti Sol's Bien by the title "Kamati Ya Roho Chafu".

They come through with a serious party starter as they send out  a message to all the haters to move aside as they create a space to celebrate good vibes. It is surely one hell of a party in the official music video as the stars bring forth the party scene tied together with a dance number for you to enjoy.



Kahu$h ft. Chris Kaiga - MaStingo

Rapidly rising young talents; Kahu$h and Chris Kaiga recently released a hot new single titled "MaStingo".

MaStingo is a Kenyan slang term to mean 'style'.  Embracing their different but equally amazing dance styles, they both come through with hysterical head bopping raps about Nairobi's trap scene.

The artists also come through with the official visuals for the track where they continue to break creative boundaries as they channel a nineties infomercial for an aerobic class matched with vibrant styling alongside various catchy dance moves to bop along to.
