H_art The Band release new album "Made In The Streets"
Undoubtedly, one of Kenya’s highly acclaimed Afro-poetry ensemble, H_art The Band - have just released their debut album - #MadeInTheStreets.
After three years of writing and recording, H_art The Band share their 13-track album inspired by their lives in the streets of Nairobi long before the fame. They have featured some superstars on the album such as SautiSol, Bensoul, Kaskazini, Cedo, Victoria Kimani, Nyota Ndogo, Cindy Sanyu from Uganda and Seyi Shay from Nigeria.

Fusing poetry and spoken word in the composition and performance of their music, the trio stand out for their unique approach to their art.
Comprising of 3 amazing lads; Wachira Gatama, Kenneth Muya and Mordecai Kimeu, met in 2012 at Kenya National Theatre where they discovered their shared passion for music, spoken word, poetry, comedy, dance, fashion and life. They later decided to join Sauti Academy to perfect their art! 6 years, over 50 songs and 13 dogs later they are better and have grown through it all.
Their breakthrough hit “Uliza Kiatu” released two years later paved the way for the band to become a household name in Kenya and one of the most sought after bands. They have gone on to release a series of hit singles including #Nikikutazama, #Adabu ft Dela, #Masheesha Ft. Bensoul and #Rosella with Lady Jaydee.
