Kelvynboy ft. Joey B – Mea
For those of you who don't know, Kelvynboy is an afrobeats singer who is top reggae and dancehall act Stonebwoy's protege, signed to his Burniton Music Group record label.
After releasing a string of singles ever since his debut, this year the singer dropped his debut EP titled "T.I.M.E",
A standout single from the project which garnered some significant buzz is this song right here titled "Mea", featuring an appearance by rapper Joey B.
"Mea" is looking like Kelvynboy's first certified hit so far, and the start of a promising music career. When you have the cosign of one of Ghana's biggest artists of all time, why not?
Magnom ft. Shatta Wale – I Taya
In June Ghanaian producer turned artist Magnom dished out this joint titled "I Taya", and it's probably the most enjoyable heartbreak anthem you've ever heard.
This time around, the "My Baby" hitmaker gets dancehall act Shatta Wale to assist him, who delivers an equally heartbroken verse, which is a lovely and tickling contrast to what we're used to from him.
"I Taya" is killing it on the radio and the streets of Ghana, another surefire party staple from the dreadlocked rapper, singer, producer, and sound engineer.
Stonebwoy ft. Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Kelvyn Boy & Darkovibes - Kpo K3k3
Multi award winning reggae and dancehall act Stonebwoy delivered a brand new joint titled "Kpoo K3k3". The party starter by the Burniton Music Group CEO is also a massive collaboration, as he features Darkovibes, Kelvyn Boy, Kwesi Arthur and Medikal on this one.
The dance-floor ready jam which shortly took over parties and events at all the hot spots in the city is actually named after an alcoholic beverage, a very popular and locally brewed ginger liquor called Kpoo Keke.
Branded "Ghana's Favorite Liquor", at this point it's hard to tell whether the drink lended Stonebwoy a hand in scoring this hit, or whether Stonebwoy's song is the secret behind the drink's popularity.
Kwesi Arthur ft. Mr Eazi - Nobody
The Ground Up Chale act makes another entry on the list with the lead single from his sophomore project "Live From Nkrumah Krom Vol. II Home Run". This song is a collaboration with Nigeria's own Mr Eazi.
On "Nobody", the duo delivers earnest and heartful confessions of love, making for a sing-along pop rap anthem. Another chart topper by the rapper that isn't a rap song? Can we agree now that he's peeped the formula and is sticking to it? *
Can't knock the hustle though. Kwesi looks perfectly at home at the top of the game as he continues dropping hits in what's beginning to look like more than just a winning streak.
