VIDEO: M.I shares stage with Jesse Jagz + Performs "Chairman" Album at Industry Nite

For many of us who have not yet received a copy let alone listened to the M.I Chairman album, we are very happy to hear snippets of LIVE performances of one or two singles off the album.

Here are some videos recorded at M.I's album listening party at the Industry Nite yesterday. The surprise of the Night came when Jesse Jagz said 'Shout out to Chocolate City' and raised the "C" right before dapping one of his ex-bosses Paul Okeugo. While the crowd was still hailing Jesse Jagz, M.I started reciting barz of the emotional "Brother" (Track 8) single which addresses the Choc City break up. Shortly after, Jesse Jagz comes on stage and performs 2 of his own singles. Very emotional moment and the evidence that all is well between Jesse and his brothers... including Chocolate City.

From what you will hear in the videos below, it is safe to say that if you were worried that M.I would not deliver a SOLID album, please cheer up and stop worrying 'cause it appears that you will be on quite an experience after you hit the PLAY button to M.I's Chairman Album.

Honestly, I donno why an outfit like Choc City cannot do something right. If you want to release an album, make sure all formats are released at the same time. Otherwise, you are about to kill yourself by way of piracy. I have been waiting for the album to be on iTunes since yesterday so that we can show our love by buying it as true fans. Unfortunately, like you mentioned, boys have already been uploading the tracks online and now, I have listened to 6 of the tracks. Anyways, I will still buy it when finally released on iTunes… Read more »

You are right Paul. For such a noteworthy release, they really dropped the ball. People worldwide have been looking for this album on various online platforms. I think the record label needs an overhaul, even their website didn't have the Pre-order info up on time and it's still displaying pre-order details along with "page not found" if accessed from the middle of the page. Choc City, you need to wake up. That being said, this album is awesome.

Shows you how poor his label handled things. Its like they were interested in all the hype and interviews instead of focusing on the economics of his album.
Such an album should have been available on all platforms pre-listening party.

POOR EXECUTION !! POOR EXECUTION !!!!

will still get the album, but my initial urge has died down to get it after searching like a mad man

The Album is OFFICIALLY OUT on iTunes. I swear this is the Best Album this year and even 2015. M.I is certainly a GIFT to Music and a blessing to Nigeria. Demn, I must say I wasn't disappointed at all... The Chairman is DOPE beyond words, suites all genre and strata of music / society. Jude Jude Jude, Respect Boss... YOU REMAIN THE KING OF AFRICAN HIP-HOP...YOU'RE MORE THAN TALENTED, YOU'RE A BRILLIANT GENIUS!

The best and most complete album I've heard this year. Lyrically strong (for those of you that have been crying about lack of lyrics), Commercially successful and stimulating. Uncle M.I., you too try.
