VIDEO: D'Prince - Gentleman Ft Davido & Don Jazzy

The much awaited tune from Mavin record's artiste D'prince just dropped moments ago and it did not dissapoint! Trust me!

Mavin Record’s Superstar Artiste, D’prince is bringing his exceptional brand of smooth, catchy and introspective music to the Nigerian music factory. He is gearing up to celebrate a rewarding new year by dropping a classy video titled “Gentleman” featuring Davido and Mavin boss ,Don Jazzy.

The track which was produced by Nigeria’s super producer Don Jazzy, and video directed by prolific cinematographer/ video Director Clarence Peters with costumes styled by Okunoren Twins, has generated much anticipation on the social media.

The song, possibly the first of its kind in the Nigerian music scene, leaves charming wedding sensation into your ear drums. It invites its listeners to love and cherish their relationships. The song has a relatively semi fast-paced beat that is rather inviting with a sound that is not quite oriental but breathes a distinctive modern flavor of the Nigerian wedding setting.

Nice tune with that classic guitar sound which is unmistakably african. I like the song. Been waiting for something totally wowing from D'prince. I guess the waiting will soon be over from wat I am seeing. I beleive the talent is there but it still needs fine tuning. Oya, Don Jazzy do your work on this dude!

Another tungba music, except this time with the most generic, overly-recyled lyrics:

I DEY SING MY LOVE ON THE MICROPHONE
YOU SHINE LIKE THE MORNING SUN
I LOVE YOU THE WAY YOU ARE

Imaginative much?

A-list artistes that didn't bring their A-game on this song and Video. Lots of recycled lyrics, you guys really need better song writers, the lyrics are so lame, very pedestrian. This video would have been ok for an upcoming artistes but not these guys.

I know English is hard so let me humbly enlighten you, "Pedestrian" also means:- lacking in vitality, imagination, distinction etc; commonplace or dull.

This is the most reckless and bile bitter comment i have read on njok this year. There is more to this than just criticism. Shey him collect ur GF ni, Guy whatever you assume or presume about Dprince, he has overcome them and infact blazed more trail. I like people who are confident to put their real names when they criticize other people's personal lives, so that we can also shine a light on them as well to see if they are any better. Bitterness kills more than cancer

Was expecting something heavy because of Jazzy and Davido but sorry this song is flat and mundane. Nevertheless, more grease to your elbow D'prince, we will all make it.
