Sinzu Uncut: 1st Day Out The Slammer #ZuFree | Notjustok TV Exclusive

As promised at the start of the week, here it is!

Last week, while on a personal trip to Houston, Texas, I decided to hit up Nigerian rapper, Sinzu (formerly Sauce Kid).

While on the phone, we figured we might as well record an exclusive interview. First idea was to chop it up on my personal podcast @TheMATSpodcast. But then, we decided to raise the stakes a few levels higher with an exclusive Notjustok TV interview.

This is Sinzu‘s first interview since getting out of prison. And boy... it's, without a doubt, the most in-depth Sauce Kid interview of all time!

Highlights include a detailed day-to-day description of life behind bars, his thoughts on the current state of Nigerian hip-hop, as well as his favorite new rappers (including one that's kinda sorta jocking his style). 😀

Sinzu touches on the beef culture in Hip-Hop, its competitive nature, and a potential M.I Abaga beef that never materialized. What about the Godwon beef? Are they cool now?

Sinzu also details THE phone conversation with Davido which sealed the #SMG #DMW #30BG deal.

There’s so much said in this, you certainly don’t wanna miss it. #ZuFREE !

Hiphop is alive, the Nigerian market is just not paying premium dollar for it. All these HipHop cats you're calling from the ModeNine era(even the female rappers) didnt make a lot of money, they just rode the new wave of the new Nigerian sound at the time. M.I changed that up a bit by popping that Naija flavor on raw Hiphop, remember that Safe freestyle... "They call me M. Aya, Just… Read more »
