Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette in a recent interview revealed that he would be interested in playing in European football when asked about his future at Arsenal.

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette in a recent interview with Canal Plus revealed so much about what his dreams and aspirations are now that his contract with Arsenal is coming to an end at the end of the 2021/2022 season.

The French national did not hide the fact that he has been holding talks with different clubs in different leagues as he is interested in playing Champions League football or even any UEFA competition in Europe. Alexandre Lacazette's future has been under the spotlight in recent times considering the fact that he would be a free agent at the end of the 2021/2022 season.

The Arsenal frontman has been linked to different sides one of which is his former club, Lyon.

Lacazette addressed this in the interview and said:

“I am in discussions with a lot of clubs. I am open. I have never cut contact with Lyon since I left. I try to return to the club once or twice a year to see the medical staff because we are really close. Lyon know that I am free, they have to come up with a proposal. I want to play in Europe, it’s been a long time since I played in the Champions League. I’m missing it."
