South African rapper, Rouge, is on the verge of releasing her debut album, “New Era Sessions”. The LP releases in South Africa on the 8th of September and the anticipation for the record his high.
Rouge has been teasing some of the sounds from the album and we got an opportunity to listen to the product of her hard work in Studio when she released the first single: “Mbongo Zaka” featuring Nomuzi in 2016. Her latest single, “Deja Vu” is one of the biggest hip hop songs of the moment and she’s promoted it on every artistic level possible, including with a dance video:
The album will have 15 songs and the likes of KLY an Big Star Johnson will both be featuring on the record. Rouge will be holding a launch party for “New Era Sessions” in Johannesburg on the 8th of September. You can expect a massive turnout for this one:
“New Era Sessions” is going to be more than an album, however. Rouge is releasing it as both a studio release, and a movie – her first in fact! The trailer for the film has had people going crazy on social media and publishers are covering her every move at the moment.
