blame NCC for sending us back to the stone age cos of greed with their cross network unlimited download ban. People are saving MBs and only checking on familiar artistes. Naija i hail...backwards ever.

....True. most peeps now check on artistes they're familiar with...
....nowadays if an up &coming artiste is dope & not well publicized...
....even if they put the song on NJO, na so people go scroll pass the song....
....I think i now know why the NJO team often leave some songs at d beginning of their music post for weeks.
...Reason is if they don't do it that way, nobody go gree check am. Most especially when it involves an up coming art....

...God help naija!!!

Its a sad shame because this stuff is just making the rich telecoms and established artistes richer yet again and the poor get ****ed over and out...stupid naija government with no plans to empower the masses/youth. I pay spectranet for monthly GB which finishes within 1 week and after that its pay as you go, 1k daily. How can the average Nigerian afford this? Even youths that try to stay in school, government doubles school fees on them. I can't lie to you my guy being a Nigerian is frustrating.

While i agree to some of your reasons as to why up coming artistes (good ones) are being ignored, i will like to state that the major problem facing the Naija music scene is Overpopulation, Entertainment many years ago had people who has passion for what they were doing and one can easily feel their passion, selfless effort, Zeal in their music and you can be certain of what to expect, you hardly get disappointed. On that note, in this age every TOM, D*ICK and HARRY is an upcoming artiste, people now see it as a SAFE ZONE and the… Read more »
