Nigerian megastar, Burna Boy reacts to video of protesters refusing to play his music at the #EndSARS protest.

The video which was released on the 10th of October 2020, showed protesters rejecting Burna Boy’s soundtrack when it came up. The massive disapproval of his music at the protest triggered a reaction from the self-acclaimed African Giant.

Burna Boy replied to the video with an interesting quote. It reads:

Even JESUS was Crucified

The rejection of his music by protesters, explains his fallout with some Nigerian music lovers for not rising to his “revolutionary musician” title.

In recent times, Burna Boy has been tagged by some, on social media as an “audio revolutionary” artiste, with some Nigerians replacing his “odogwu” title with “audio-gwu”.
