As ongoing tensions continue to rise, the current owner of Chelsea, Roman Abramovich, has been barred by the UK government from living in Britain.

The Russian billionaire has reportedly been under scrutiny by the British government after allegedly being named one of the 35 Oligarchs by the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny that has enabled the Putin-led administration in Russia.

Roman has not been able to renew his investor visa since 2018 after speculated delays in the process due to the criticisms of Russian Oligarchs that trailed the case of the Salisbury poisonings.
