Remy Baggins Releases 4th Project; "Hentai" | LISTEN
In many parts of Nigeria, sex is regarded as a taboo. While being forbidden to engage in and forbidden to talk about, Nigeria still remains the 7th most populous country on Earth. But do babies fall from the sky?
Enter Remy Baggins and his new "sextape"; HENTAI.
Coined from the short form of the Japanese phrase "hentai seiyoku" (which means sexual perversion), Remy explores numerous genres ranging from Funk to Dancehall to Trap, and sexual themes like Phone Sex and Consent on the 9 track project. With it's strong R&B core and support from guest artistes like LADIPOE, Dami Oniru, Tomi Thomas and Funbi, HENTAI is a bold statement from the youth that we are no longer ashamed of our sex lives, and you shouldn't be either.
The project is available on all streaming platforms from the 6th of June, 2019. All the tracks were Produced, Mixed and Mastered by Remy Baggins, who has worked with the likes of Ajebutter22, Ice Prince, Bobson, Bella Alubo, Tems, Blaqbonez, PsychoYP, Jinmi Abduls, Straffitti and Dami Oniru as either a featured artist or a producer/engineer, or both.
