Best Group in Africa, Kenyan music group Sauti Sol, have clinched new partnership with Kenya Breweries Limited’s Chrome Vodka. They have renewed a multi-million shilling brand endorsement deal that will see them continue to be the brand ambassadors for the company’s newest vodka brand. They will continue to drive Chrome’s marketing campaign ‘Dream Big, Be bigger’ #ShineOn which will include among other things, a series of nationwide concerts.
Speaking at the signing on Tuesday, Bien Aime Baraza of Sauti Sol said, “This new partnership between Sauti Sol and Chrome Vodka is a step in the right direction for Kenya’s music industry. I believe it’s the first of many and based on this relationship, cooperates and musicians will start many other lasting relationships. I hope this restores goodwill in the Kenyan music industry, which has sometimes been viewed as non-profitable and incompetent. This makes a difference not only for Sauti Sol but for Kenyan musicians at large.”
Sauti Sol has had their most successful year in 2016. They also won an AFRIMA award for Best Group Africa and hosted a nationwide and East African tour dubbed Live and Die in Afrika. Their third album also titled Live and Die in Afrika had successful singles like “Shake Yo Bam Bam” and the viral “Kuliko Jana”.
