The show has picked 11 talented African stars to represent 11 countries and we couldn't help but glow at the East African trio: Dela (Kenya), Bebe Cool (Uganda) and Rayvanny (Tanzania). Dela is returning to Coke Studio for a third time this time bouncing to the highest level. Last year she did music collaborations with Patoranking and Vanessa Mdee on the show's spotlight segment.

Both Bebe and the BET Awards 2017 nominee Rayvanny are first timers on the show and so far fans and artistes alike seem to have loved their involvement judging from how East African social media has been popping since they got on the show.

All the artistes have already met and worked with Jason Derulo - the "Swalla" hitmaker celebrated for selling over 12.5 million albums sold globally. Jason’s cumulative streams continue to soar, exceeding 5.5 billion and YouTube views surpass 3 billion. At radio, his music impacted a total audience of 20 billion-plus listeners with a staggering 3.5 million spins. While at Coke Studio, he recorded with the artistes and attended a media event and party.

At the party, Bebe Cool said: "I could have dreamt of meeting with Jason or paid a lot of money to work with him but through Coke Studio I have met a humble guy who is on top of the charts worldwide. [After being in the music industry for 25 years – this is a special moment for me,” adding, “The music industry in East Africa is rising everyday and the relationship at Coke Studio has made me feel like the other artists are family.”
